Cititation : Son, Huynh Van., Hanh, Mai My., Diem My, Nguyen Thi. (2014). Behavioral Patterns of Tobacco Addiction of Students at Some Universities in HCMC-Viet Nam. International Journal of Culture and History Marcothink Institute. 1 (1), 63-70.

Tobbaco addiction. Something that contain word ‘addict’ on it, in my opinion is a bad thing. For example, from the title of this journal “Behavioral Patterns of Tobacco Addiction of Students at Some Universities in HCMC”. Tobacco and ciggarate is the same thing, in Indonesia ciggarate is very easy to buy because the price is low and everyone, from various range of age can get it easily. Smoking became more viral nowday because many people thinks that if they not smoke, it would make them nervous or it would make them less cool than the other. From this article, in vietnam there are more that 20% of the student in certain university is a hard smoker. Not only college student, but also some teenager. Teenager smoke by imitate adult and as a way to prove themselves no more to be childern. In the family, i parents are addicted to smoke, their children are easily to addict. This is a problem related to culture, tradition and each family lifestyle.

Student are the core forve plays an important role in contribution of society. Tobacco addiction behaviour of students stated above is actually a figure to pay attention, especially when considering the cultural life of east people. People under 18 years old to buy, sell tobacco, supply tobacco. It can ruin the whole generation, it should be consider as a generation warning. The people who smoke should know the damage from taking a tobacco or ciggarate.
