Citation: Liu, Wei. (2016). The International Mobility of Chinese Student: A Cultural Perspectives. Canadian Journal of Higher Education. 46 (4). 41 - 59.

Chinese is known as a country that has dense population. Almost ¼ people on earth live in China. Because of that many of a Chinese student, go aboard for better education that they may have in their own country, but they want to improve more their education need. There is factor that causes student of Chinese do international mobility, the push and pull factor. The push factor is, as I said before, the student wants to improve their self in term of education, they went overseas to go to the best universities that they never had in their own country, the student wants to make some ‘brand-name’ higher education that can affect their life more. On the other hand, pull factor here is Chinese student want to get an English-medium education that they never had in their own country, they want to get the experience and international competence.

Anyone hoping to understand China and Chinese people’s behavior in the present day must examine China’s long history and culture, as these often have crystallized into current behavioral patterns. China is currently the number one source country of international students around the world. The main cause that causes this huge mobility is because Chine is one of the biggest economic countries, that almost all the are in Chine is a big factory. In hope to make their hometown better, the student of China that go aboard hope that the economic in their country increase more and more.
